Anaí Olivares trained as a Visual Artist at the Savannah College of Art and Design in the United States. As an Art Director (Production Designer), she has worked on the feature films Perro Guardián, El Sistema Solar, Siete Semillas, No me digas solterona 2, No Te Mueras Por Mi, and Aj Zombies, as well as the short film El Hueco, winner at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival and screened at the Cannes Short Film Corner and Baby Film Festival. As an Audiovisual Director, her work includes the short films Con mis Tamales No te Metas and Delivery 666, music videos for various local artists, including Botox by Denisse Bullard, selected for the Transcinema and Guayaquil Film Festivals, and commercials for different brands. She was selected for Berlinale Talents (2018) as part of the World Building course with Alex McDowell and received a scholarship to attend the Art Department Masterclasses in Vilnius, Lithuania (2022). Her artistic pursuits focus on experimentation in the visual arts across diverse media and formats.
