Basel Baze Abbas (Born April 7, 1997), known professionally as Baze, is a Pakistani rapper, singer, footballer, songwriter and musician. He gained popularity through posting emo rap songs that he made from his room. Baze has now amassed over 10 million plays across all streaming services and platforms. He is additionally now recognised for his achievements and accomplishments and life beyond music, including football, business, and gaming, after his real name and more information about his life came out. Baze was born in Karachi, Pakistan, and moved at an early age to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where he lived a majority of his youth, studying, working, and trying to pursue his dream of becoming a footballer. He had been seen acting, performing, or featuring in documentaries, music videos and film projects. Baze was picked up by Manchester United while playing at one of their soccer schools at the age of 13 and played in their academy for 3-4 years until he returned to continue his education. After rejecting a call up from the Pakistan national U-16 team due to unavailability, he played in the same game representing the United Arab Emirates national U-16 team and scored the first goal in a 0-2 win. He notably got a MOTM performance which included four assists in a 5-4 win against Arsenal U-18 at The Sevens Stadium. In 2015 he had a few high profile trials, including two in Spain for FC Barcelona & Valencia CF. He is in the top 2,000 PlayStation Network trophy hunters in the world with over 1,100+ platinums and 29,000+ total trophies as of 2025. He earned a spot at the FIFA Interactive World Cup 2011, but was ineligible to participate due to age and regional restrictions.
