Bea Blue

Bea Blue is an Austrian-born queer filmmaker based in Berlin. Considering herself a "porn activist," she is a staunch advocate for sex as a powerful tool to elicit positive change. "Her films live from authenticity, love and respect for oneself. Directing from behind the camera, her focus remains clearly visible: becoming free from expectations that one imposes on oneself or is imposed upon, as well as releasing oneself from pressures from society. With devotion to the own body and sexuality, it becomes clear in her films that masturbating is important and that the exchange with oneself is characterised by openness and honesty." -Cheex
