Born and raised in Prince Edward Island, author and screenwriter Jenny Taylor-Whitehorn is now Denver-based, with her husband, her two kids, and their dogs, Dan and Toni Colette. Still paying for her MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA, Jenny has developed content with Sony Crackle, Dreamworks TV, and NBC Universal. Her country music-inspired feature script, THE LOW PLACE, is being produced by Ian Bryce Productions with Matt Smukler to direct. She’s also recently been hired to adapt the founder of MAKE-A-WISH’s story into a feature-length film with director, Tom Putnam. Her dramatic writing is represented by Alan Duthie and Greg Pedicin at The Gersh Agency. Jenny teaches screenwriting at Lighthouse Writers Workshop, and moms two young kids, and a very old dog. As a writer, Jenny is a sucker for inappropriate things people say in times of sorrow, romantic comedy banter, and all the kissing parts.
