Sharon K. Gilbert is a Christian author, biologist, and science communicator known for blending faith, science, and speculative fiction in her work. She holds a top-honours degree in molecular biology from Indiana University and brings her scientific background into her writing and media projects. She co-hosts SciFriday with her husband, Derek P. Gilbert, where they explore science, technology, and prophecy from a biblical perspective. Together, they also host Unraveling Revelation, a program focusing on biblical prophecy. As an author, Gilbert has written both fiction and non-fiction, including Ebola and the Fourth Horseman of the Apocalypse, the Laodicea Chronicles (Winds of Evil, The Armageddon Strain), and The Redwing Saga, a long-running supernatural thriller series. She has contributed to several collaborative Christian prophecy books as well. In addition to her scientific and writing work, Gilbert is trained in opera and continues to perform. She and her husband live in Missouri, where they run Gilbert House Ministries and produce digital content centered on faith, science, and prophecy.
