His obsession with cinema began at the age of five, triggered by the visceral experience of watching Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. By nine, he was already behind a VHS camera, charting an inevitable course toward filmmaking. After debuting in amateur festivals at fifteen, he solidified his craft through formal film school education and extensive hands-on experience across various departments on professional sets. His directorial portfolio is marked by critical recognition: in 2016, his short film "Uma Mumu" earned a Special Jury Prize, followed by the success of "Zhaba.by" (2020), which was shortlisted for the prestigious PÖFF (Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival). Beyond his narrative work, he has built a diverse career as a director and creative producer, spanning music videos, commercials, and web series. A dedicated educator, he currently shares his expertise in Lithuania, teaching film directing and screenwriting through specialized labs and media project courses. He is currently in development on his debut feature film and a new short-form series.
