Sam Worthington

Samuel Henry John Worthington (nato il 2 agosto 1976) è un attore britannico-australiano. È meglio conosciuto per aver interpretato Jake Sully in Avatar, Marcus Wright in Terminator Salvation e Perseo in Clash of the Titans e il suo sequel Wrath of the Titans. Successivamente ha assunto ruoli più drammatici, apparendo in The Debt (2010), Everest (2015), Hacksaw Ridge (2016), The Shack (2017), Manhunt: Unabomber (2017) e Fractured (2019). In televisione, è apparso nella sua nativa Australia come Howard in Love My Way e come Phillip Schuler nella miniserie televisiva Deadline Gallipoli, di cui è stato anche produttore esecutivo. Ha doppiato il protagonista, il Capitano Alex Mason, nel videogioco Call of Duty: Black Ops (2010), così come i suoi sequel Call of Duty: Black Ops II (2012) e Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (2018) . Nel 2022, ha recitato nella miniserie del vero crimine Under the Banner of Heaven.
