Overview: In Canoa do Bagre, on the coast of São Paulo, Juarez and Gustavo are former youth friends who took very different paths: the first became a powerful businessman after stealing his late boss's money, while the second prospered on his own merit with a transport company. Juarez's dream is to destroy the fishing village to expand his resort, but Gustavo is the biggest opponent and leads the residents against it.
