Content: Our protagonist is a medium-high, lean, ca. 100-year old one. As for his origin, he belongs to the beech trees. Through the history and relations of our star, we get acquainted with the secrets of trees' lives and those skills that enabled them to be one of the oldest living things on Earth. We examine the macro-environment and social network of the beech, we meet the creepy, crawly and flying creatures that are inseparable from the trees, we witness the many dozen defensive, competitive and cooperative strategies.
