Content: Poland, 1991. Two elderly political refugees, Demosthenes and Argyris, take the train from the coal mining region to the cemetery where the former's wife and the latter's mother are buried. Stuck in a cramped train carriage because of the rain, they begin to talk about their lives in exile. One has decided to return to his homeland, but the other seems hesitant. They speak candidly, revealing their sad loneliness and fears for the future, trying to share their feelings and their deepest pain.
