Content: Art, the artist, receives a circular announcing a prize for the best painting of a desert flower. Woody Woodpecker also reads it and decides to enter the competition. He and Art wage a battle all over the desert regarding who is to paint the only desert flower in the area. Woody wins the battle and the contest, and is awarded a painting of a bag of gold.
