Content: A group of people sleep standing up with their heads down. Light appears and disappears. People wake up. They look around, looking for a source of light. They return to their original position and sink back into sleep. The light appears and disappears. People wake up, look around and fall asleep. The light reappears and disappears. People wake up again, look around again and fall asleep again. Light appears but does not disappear. People are starting to walk towards the light. The film Beyond the Horizon is a metaphorical story about the eternal human search for the meaning of one's existence and one's place in the world, as well as the states and situations that individuals and society go through during that search.
