Between the lack of communication with his son—leaving him unsure if the boy is even home—and persistent inquiries regarding a work-related incident that has led to legal trouble, Alfonso is left completely on edge. Meanwhile, Alex Vera—Alfonso’s serious, reserved son, who lost his mother—returns from a date with his girlfriend, Mariana Ruizpalacio, only to find the Ruizpalacio family home partially destroyed.
