Content: The protagonists of the film are are siblings whose mother, Euis, gave up her dreams as a young girl due to financial difficulties and came to Taiwan to work as a migrant laborer before eventually marrying and settling down. Now, as the siblings’ dreams begin to take root, they navigate the cultures of Indonesia and Taiwan, transitioning from childhood to adolescence—a journey from which there is no turning back, marked by a unique cross-cultural experience of growing up.
