Content: Nivaran Chatterjee lives with his wife and three sons: an elder married, son Kedarnath impaired after a head injury, and youngest Amarnath, a student. Amarnath loves Beeni Mukherjee, whose sister Saraswati studies. Kedarnath admires Saraswati but pretends to be an athlete; she learns his fraud, ends the romance and marries her father's chosen suitor.
