Content: The owner of an inn instructs one of his employees to find an interpreter, but the man returns with Farhat, a naïve country bumpkin who only causes confusion among the hotel's guests. Dr. Helmy, who is staying at the hotel, asks Farhat to impersonate him in order to test the feelings of his fiancée, Nona. Posing as Dr. Helmy, Farhat travels to Alexandria, where the young woman lives.
