Content: The chekist Andrei Kedrin had documents in his hands indicating that the British were preparing an invasion of Soviet Turkestan. A small group of Chekists is sent to the Pamirs, led by Kudrin, to intercept an English caravan with weapons. Kedrin knows the area well, has lived in Khojent for several years, and is familiar with local customs.
