Content: On the outskirts of the “Portas de Ródão”, an exceptional natural monument in Portugal, a paper factory can no longer cope with its condition. She wants to blend into the landscape, she wants to disappear. Through the sensitive eyes of a “disproportionate pile of gears” the film questions the notion of romantic landscape and questions the human impact on what we consider to be part of nature.
