Content: Kabul's Apples Are Sweet is a short film about a 16-year-old Afghan teenager named Esmaeel who is a refugee living and working illegally on Kish Island in southern Iran. He has been in Iran for two years and looks after camels on a farm. The only way he can communicate with his family in Afghanistan is through the Internet. But it’s been two months since his sister’s cell phone stopped working and he doesn’t have any updates from his family. He wants to secretly send a mobile phone to his sister so they can get in touch with each other again...
