Content: Hans Brugger, a young engineer, wants to build a ski jump in an Alpine winter sports resort. The townspeople are enthusiastic about the project, hoping it will boost tourism, and consequently donate a large portion of the necessary construction funds. Only one villager refuses to participate: the owner of the local restaurant, the “Alpenhof,” is opposed to the idea.
