Content: A year of life across the entire Alpine region, from the spring thaw to the arrival of winter, seen through the eyes, gestures, and reflections of three characters: Virginie, Marcel, and Valentin. Far removed from the stereotype of the “mountain man,” these figures embody a contemporary, resilient, and at times innovative way of living and working in the Alps. For them, a return to a rural lifestyle is both a political and a spiritual choice.
