Content: Using home movies shot around Christmas time, Nativity portrays certain dynamics and roles played within a Portuguese middle class family in the 90s. Framed by a persistent harassment of television advertising and entertainment, those images follow a journey through a consumerist euphoria of a country living an illusion of prosperity, but which in the end is transformed into a sleepy hangover.
