The film also shows the story of Pascal (35), a theatre maker in Vaqueros (Argentina), for whom a valid identity document is of vital importance due to his medical needs. In addition, an anonymous former student from Curaçao shares his experiences, where a single administrative error resulted in a flood of reminders and even the arrival of a bailiff, despite years of proper repayment. The documentary aims to raise awareness about the psychological and societal consequences of high student debt and encourages young people to think about the financial aspects of studying and borrowing from DUO.
