Content: A young man from a impoverished family who falls for a shantytown girl rather than the daughter of a wealthy banker. The girl becomes a popular cabaret dancer and defends the boy's sister from the town bully. Ultimately, she saves the family from ruin by riding their horse to victory in a high-stakes handicap race rigged by the corrupt banker.
