Content: After a violent episode on Memorial Day, Jim was placed in memory care. 11 weeks later he died. This short film, made in partnership with Chilean animators Sebastián Bisbal and Natalie Johns, explores the contradiction between for-profit institutions and the deep humanity of care workers and residents. The piece ends in healing as the truth of observation changes understanding.
