Content: Ignacy Szczepanski's documentary is a record of a lesson in jazz improvisation given to Polish trumpeter Piotr Bal by an accomplished musician and dean of the jazz faculty at Roosevelt University in Chicago. The rehearsals are complemented by shots of the city and fragments of a concert filmed at the Pink Crocodile Club.
