Content: In this documentary, filmed in Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and New York and illustrated by photos by David Zingg and Pierre Verger and drawings by Mestre Pastinha himself, director Antonio Carlos Muricy narrates the trajectory of one of the most important Brazilian capoeiristas. The result of 5 years of work, this film is a rare opportunity to get to know the fundamentals and history of the legendary Capoeira de Angola and its greatest master, Pastinha. After the screening of the film, there will be a Capoeira presentation with Professor Saudade and his group of students from the Gingando pela Paz / VivaRio project.
