Content: An unseen narrator tells his experience of wrongful imprisonment in an unnamed country and his random release. Based on a letter sent to Amnesty International, by the filmmaker’s father, and a surreal interview given about it. ‘Prison with Songbirds’ is a documentary and fiction hybrid in which dream-nightmare and digital-celluloid collide.
