(Restless - Keith Haring in Brazil)

Content: Starting from the recovery of a Keith Haring work by his friend, artist Kenny Scharf, this documentary examines a little known period in the life and times of the artist: his sojourns in Brazil. Between 1984 and 1986, he visited many times the Serra Grande region of Bahia . There, he lived with many other artists, exchanging his busy New York City street interventions for paintings inspired by local sights and people. Talks with intimate friends, archival footage and rare drawings by Haring compose the fabric of this film, which also focus on the his activism in struggling against Aids.
