Content: UCLA student ("Project One") documentary about Allison Mills, a young African American woman who was a successful teenage actress in the 1960s and 70s. Unhappy with the roles available to women of color, by the mid-70s Ms. Mills turns songwriting to fulfill her creative drives and is offered a contract to record an album at A&M Records.
