Content: Fresh out of high school, Aaron and Matthew travel to Berlin for a summer that's supposed to be about freedom, and about the feelings they've never said out loud. But as the city opens up around them, Aaron starts seeing something no one else can: a menacing figure that follows him through the streets, feeding on the history written into his own Jewish heritage. As the two grow closer, the horror only Aaron can perceive grows with them, and Matthew is left to decide whether to believe the person he's falling for, or the evidence of his own eyes.
