Content: T1D is an expository documentary about living with type one diabetes. The main Subjects are Sarah and Maria. They will tell their unique story of how they got diagnosed, how they lived with it after and how it is living with it now. Type one diabetes is a chronic autoimmune illness in which the body's immune system mistakenly attacks the insulin producing cells in the pancreas, which causes high blood sugar levels. This documentary will lead to education about T1D and people living with it.
