Content: Revisiting the process of image-making during five historical moments: Upper Palaeolithic, Classical Greece, Enlightenment, the appearance of Conceptual Art in the mid-1960s and the present time in order to question the distrust towards the aesthetic level of the artwork which followed the rise of conceptual art in the 1960s; and the consequent, increasing colonisation of aesthetic experience by capitalism.
