Content: The Halifax Explosion was a devastating catastrophe which occurred on December 6, 1917, and this year, 2017 marks 100 years since the disaster. This film recounts the events from that day and includes a number of survivor stories. With much support from near and afar, the event galvanized the community, and eventually led to long term improvements to the region and its citizens.
