Content: When Pierre Larosse, a trapper, calls on his sweetheart, Jeanne Coudert, to present her with the skin of a silver fox, he finds a stranger. Jacques Javillier, at the Coudert cabin. Jealousy is aroused between the two men by the girl's evident preference for the stranger. Pere Coudert, her father, is called away and announces that one of the men must accompany him.
