Overview: Investigator Igor Zhuk arrives at his new duty station in Vyborg, but fate does not let him go. When the disfigured body of a young girl is found in the nearby forest, he realizes that he has already seen a similar case. The brutal murder has something to do with the fate of his dead wife, and Igor decides to find the perpetrators by all means. He teams up with police Captain Chagin, a talented detective who is used to acting not according to the rules, but according to justice.
