Beginning 46 years after the titular cataclysm event, The Lightfall. This event threw the land of Arrak into chaos; destroying cities, ruining crops and awakening monsters all across the continent. The campaign follows a group of adventurers who meet by chance, and quickly form a strong bond, going on to help the people of Arrak, as well as discovering and confronting their individual pasts.

Siaska's final creation of The Cradle, an aurora-like protective barrier around the planet, was successfully able to seal Aerois safely off from the rest of the planes. However, not all has been forgotten. When their airship is attacked by mysterious figures remeniscent of Starbane's old forces, the adventurers must band together to continue to survive.
