Overview: The Golden Bowl is a six-part British television miniseries based on Henry James' 1904 novel of the same name. Adapted by Jack Pulman and directed by James Cellan Jones, the serial stars Barry Morse, Jill Townsend, Daniel Massey, Gayle Hunnicutt, Kathleen Byron, and Cyril Cusack. Wealthy American widower Adam Verver and his daughter Maggie live a refined life in Europe, surrounded by art.
